Ideas for a Manchester City Themed Party

If you're watching a Manchester City game with your friends, there are plenty of ideas to help you turn the event into a Manchester City themed football party.

Mancheter City Party Decorations

BulletpointDecorate yourself and your room with Mancheter City shirts, flags and scarves (see links, right, or search for Manchester City kit on Kitbag.com).
BulletpointIf you're serving food, search for sky blue table covers, napkins, plates, cups and cutlery on our General Party Decorations Page
BulletpointFor bunting, flags, balloons and more Mancheter City Party Decorations Ideas, visit our English Football Clubs Merchandise Page

As for colour schemes, in addition to the above ideas, anything else you can find in sky blue and white will help create the right atmosphere.

Food for a Manchester City Themed Party

For our "overseas visitors", you will find some more generic English recipes on our English National Football Team page, if you prefer.

No doubt the food served in both restaurants and homes in Manchester has changed over recent years, and embraced a whole host of modern, healthy and international influences. However, traditional Mancunian food - like much of the food of the North West of England - developed from a need to provide warmth and calories in a cold wet climate, using whatever local ingredients were available.

Mancunian Recipes
Probably the two best known recipes from the area - and feel free to get in touch if you want to add to this list - are:

Drink for a Manchester City Themed Party

The Manchester region is not known for its wine production. However, the Boddingtons Brewery produced a fine beer that was known throughout the world. The brewery, originally established over two hundred years ago, is no longer in existance, so Boddingtons Ale , once known as "the cream of Manchester" is no longer produced in the city. The good news is, though, that it is still widely available.
