Football Party Home Page. Welcome!Hi. This is one of those "by the fans, for the fans" football sites. The main difference between this one and many of the others is that we are here to provide ideas and resources to people who want to throw a football themed party with their friends at home. As a result, we try not to get too anal about who was playing left back for Notts County Reserves on January 21st 1963; this site isn't obsessed with facts, figures and stats. Our philosophy - if that isn't too grand a word for it - is that football is actually a social activity - it's about having fun with your mates. Whether you're playing on a Sunday morning or watching down the pub on a Wednesday evening, it's a lot more fun with friends. So yes, we do carry some results & tables, but only for those major competitions and football tournaments that are likely to be televised and/or provide a good excuse for a party. So we cover details of major upcoming events, including the Fifa World Cup, Uefa Euro 2012, the Uefa Champions League, the FA Cup and the African Cup of Nations. But most of the site is dedicated to partying! Whether you're looking for menu ideas for a themed Algerian evening during the World Cup, or ideas for a kids footy party, we've got it. You want a football trivia quiz? A Barcelona shirt? You want flags, bunting and other ideas to help decorate your front room for a football party? We even have suggestions for what friends, relatives and partners who aren't into the beautiful game can do while you're having a party watching the match!
